When leading architectural and engineering design firm LBE, Inc. (www.lbeeng.com) built its new headquarters facility in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, they got the ultimate blank canvas: a chance to show off their knack for creative, cost-effective, and energy-efficient design.

The Solution

Throughout the new facility, LBE deployed a complete suite of GENISYS tunable PoE lighting fixtures, architectural accents from partner LAMAR LED, and code-compliant emergency lighting. Running the whole show is the heart, soul, and brains of the system: the GENISYS IntelliDrive.

Armed with 120 IntelliDrives, occupancy sensors, and advanced management software, IT and Cybersecurity Director Jordan Steele can oversee and tweak the entire setup from anywhere. Maintenance is an absolute breeze: zero electricians required, maximum safety with low-voltage power operating under 60 Watts, and a control system so intuitive any IT pro can master it.

Stairwell lights automatically turn on in the morning and off at night. On Fridays, when the team works remotely, anyone heading into the office can easily dial in custom brightness for their workspace, completely confident the system will shut everything back down for the weekend.

Working with GENISYS to commission the system was fantastic. Their customer service was unmatched and saved me hours of work. At the end of the day, I have total visibility and remote control over every single light. Yet, the schedules and automation are so refined that I can basically just set it and forget it.
